  • Why do I feel pressure when people close to me need something from me? 
  • Why do I have this underlying feeling that those closest to me won't be there for me if I need them, including God?
  • Why is my faith walk so hard to get right? Is it really this hard to do it right? 

These are just a few of the questions we sometimes ask ourselves. Of course, we wouldn't let other people know we are asking them. 

But they are questions that might have answers stemming back to our earliest relationships. 

Our Families of origin is the subject of The Family Factor, specifically how our present relationships with God and others can be affected by how our parents related to us. 


  The humility, honesty, transparency and listening skills of the leaders were key to helping others to open up and share their experiences. I also appreciated the encouragement to not to try to fix others, as this freed me up more to receive myself.

 In this  four-night teaching and ministry time we will look at the roots of our present relational struggles and begin healing.

 

  • We offer teaching sessions of about 45 minutes to bring you closer to God and bring deeper understanding.
  • We share with you some ways you can learn more about each subject and press in deeper into gaining freedom. 
  • After each teaching, a limited number of participants (who register for a limited number of openings) will join smaller breakthrough groups for approximately an hour.

Don't let misunderstanding or mistakes of your parents keep you in negative cycles of mistrust, and fear of abandonment or intimacy. 

Become free so you can experience the fullness of relationships in the life God gave you.

Even in the best families, parents aren't perfect. Sometimes it only takes a small infraction, at the right time, by a parent to cause us as children to feel forgotten, abandoned or rejected. We can easily develop walls to protect ourselves but when we get older those walls hurt our relationships and our spiritual life.


In the worst families we can develop extreme distrust of anyone trying to love us, even God, and can end up in a life rooted in constant disappointment and anger. 
We can love Jesus but in some instances, the mention heavenly Father can trigger a subtle fear and the need to build distance. 

Gain understanding and revelation of:

 

  • Who God really is and how His love can change us
  • What the issues are
  • How past pain is a stumbling block to our present lives
  • How the different aspects of mothering and fathering affect us.

 

SO WHAT ABOUT THESE BREAKTHROUGH GROUPS?

BREAKTHROUGH GROUPS are safe places facilitated by experienced leaders to help you find breakthrough in your heart and soul. Each group will have four participants and one or two facilitators.

 

  • We facilitate and welcome Holy Spirit to lead us to areas God wants to touch. 
  • We provide a place to help you discover where your strongholds came from.
  • The groups are safe places with strong boundaries to help you open up and share without any judgement or shame, and the courage to be open to receive healing and comfort in the place of your pain. 
  • You will be asked to try and be in touch with your heart. We realize that is not easy for everyone but we will stick with you! 
  • No one will try to fix you. We are supporting each other in what God is doing in you.
