Rob Malcomnsen Testimony

Rob Malcomnson - Flint, MI

I was raised in an emotionally abusive home and was essentially emotionally divorced from my parents by the early teenage years. After the breakup with a girlfriend in 2000, I realized that my relationships with people needed improvement. I was 32 years old at the time and still living at home because of the organic farming business. I knew that my relationship with my father was the worst of any and I prayed that God would help me to love my dad.

The following year, 2001, I was attending a special service at Otisville Assembly of God and heard about a speaker coming to the area named Jack Frost. I decided to get into every meeting at Judson Baptist Church near Flint. The transparent witnessing and anointing on Jack was tremendous, and all I could do was sit there crying through most of the meetings. I was getting a revelation of the Father’s love and He was healing much of the inner pain.

That started a journey of healing that continues to this day. Soon after the Flint area meetings, I was able to wash my parents’ feet and repent for the wrong responses to the hurts I had felt as a child. It transformed my family and my father has changed more in the last few years, than ever before. We still have our times of conflict, but gone is the yelling, swearing, intense criticism, accusation, and explosive anger we’d had toward one another.

Finding a safe place in Father’s heart has enabled me to have a healthy view of authority for the first time. I can contribute to a healthy church setting, as well as minister to my family. My sister has seen the changes and has grown closer to the Lord partly as a result. I’ve recently completed the Elijah House Basic 1 school to aid in ministering the basic principles communicated by Shiloh Place over the years. I still listen to many SPM teaching series and always pick up new or deeper insight to God’s true nature and design for believers.

I have moved to inner city Flint to share the love of God and pray for the hurting. I host people at my farm to build relationship and speak encouragement and truth into their lives. May God bless Shiloh Place for exercising the character required to both communicate and live the principles of the new covenant we have with our Father God.
